Imagine a place called home, a place called “Quimada Dormitory“. Help us build this important UU landmark, a 31-room dormitory, serving the university town of Dumaguette, Negros Oriental, The Philippines by 2012.
Beginning in 2008, BUILD UU Philippines is kicking off a $300,000 (US) fundraising campaign to achieve a long held goal of the UU Church of the Philippines – to establish a Women’s Dormitory adjacent to the National Headquarters. The Quimada Dormitory will house 124 college women, and serve as a center for social enterprise and income generation for the UU Church of the Philippines (est. 1954).
